  Very elegant hotel on a large area of land. All of the buildings have a traditional style, with really nice gardens and walkways. It's very quiet and peaceful, and right next to a river. Very close to the airport. Free shuttle bus to the airport picked us up right outside the front door of the hotel. Metro close by. Our room had 2 opening windows, one had an additional screen door to stop insects which was great to have. Breakfast was good – buffet style, a lot of food options and variety of juices.
  
  What could be improved: The individual room descriptions list all facilities, not just the ones for your room, which made our arrival a bit disappointing because it said "balcony and terrace", but our room had neither.
  
  Staff need to smile more! They generally have very plain expressions even when you talk to them. The young lady at the restaurant front desk had a constantly vacant expression every day, even if you smiled at her. A very tall young man handling the bags smiled once during our 4 night stay. Not a big issue, but feels a bit odd!

  The breakfast was good as well as the room cleanliness. Beautiful hotel and super nice garden. Close to the airport about a 20min drive by taxi and/or shuttle. Unfortunately, the didn't like part overtook the overall experience at the hotel. Nonetheless the staff was super nice and helped us as much as they could above and beyond to make up for the shuttle issue we had experienced.
  
  What could be improved: The description of the rooms are inaccurate. also the damage deposit of cny 1000 as described at the booking is incorrect. it's a deposit, yet still, the amount differs from what is written on booking.com. Also what is incorrect is the description of free shuttle service. We informed the hotel upfront to take the shuttle. However, we stood over 3 hrs outside in the cold with a 4 month old baby and simply no shuttle ever came. We were afraid to go back to the airport terminal, as we didn't want to miss the shuttle. Also 2 local people helped us calling the hotel (as we didn't have any mobile/wifi connectivity in China) and also after their calls the shuttle never came (even though the hotel said they would). In the end, we took a taxi and the hotel said that they couldn't find us, which was not true as we were the only foreigners standing at the exact pick-up point with a 4 month old baby. Mind you that i was walking back and forth to numerous busses and vans to ask if they were the shuttle for the hotel.

  Das Hotel ist wunderschön in einem stilvollen Garten gelegen. Die Zimmer sind groß und sehr bequem! Die Metro ist nur 250m entfernt und man kann alles Spannende in Shanghai einfach erreichen. Der Airport-Suttle klappte gut
