  What could be improved: as a foreigner choices were very limited and the entire spread was written in Chinese so could not make out what exactly it is. Also at counter chef was not willing to make egg of your choice.

  What could be improved: booked a room for my mother, chose pay in advance with my credit card. However, the hotel staff insisted to charge from my mother when she checked in (they said it’s the hotel’s rule and they will use the payment from my credit card as a deposit) and she has to pay the full price herself. it’s my first time to hear such strange rule, totally doesn’t make sense. then what’s the meaning of pay in advance?
