    This charming Airbnb couldn't be better located – right near Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, Shanghai's most vibrant heart! Super convenient with a metro station just minutes away and the iconic Bund within easy walking distance .
    The room itself impressed us with its trendy.The bed was super comfortable with fresh, crisp linens that smelled wonderful.
    Yes, it's not a brand-new luxury hotel – but that's exactly why we loved it! You get authentic local vibes with modern comforts at a great value. this is absolutely worth booking. We'd definitely stay again!

    Supplies like toilet rolls, tissue paper, mineral water was sufficient. Hair dryer was new and easy to use. Aircon is good as you can turn to aircon or heater temperature. Bed was comfortable. There is sufficient adaptor point in bedroom that enable us to charge our phones or powerbank.

    What could be improved: Toilet was in bad condition. No proper shower screen. Water flow out after shower making the whole toilet floor very wet due to no drainage. Heater did not work properly as hot water come and go. This also applies the same as water tap at basin which most of time cannot get hot water even when you turn to hot water. There is a hole on toilet door that is visible from outside. Toilet door lock was quite bad. Kitchen was not so clean and there is bad smell from refrigerator. Room doors are very run down like the wood coming out from door. There is no free TV channel. Should have provide more bath towels as we have been using one towel for the 6 nights stay. Price is too expensive due to the toilet condition and kitchen. It could have been cheaper.

    -Amazing location, central and easy to access everything we wanted to see in Shanghai.
    -Some lovely little extras, like the fire place, extension cords for devices, cushions, etc.

    What could be improved: -The soundproofing on the windows is BAD and we got a lot of ambient noise from the street. If you're a light sleeper and/or got to bed early, you might be bothered by this.
    -You can smell the neighbor's cooking even when all the windows are closed.
    – The listing mentions a microwave and fridge, but there weren't either. The host didn't mention they were missing until we asked where they were.
    – The host kept asking us to pay prior to check-in, even though booking.com confirmed (both with us, and with the host directly) that pre-payment wasn't required.
    – The bathroom is really small and the floor got quite wet after showers.
    -There are hanging decorative lights that we banged our head on numerous times. It'd be better to replace these with normal ceiling lights.
    -The front door lock is a buggy mess. it constantly gave us "password incorrect" errors (literally every single time we used it) and was just a constant nuisance to deal with.
