  The hotel is a fantastic stylish hotels and a break from the modern hotels. I stayed in the hotel 49 years ago and fortunately it hasn’t been changed

  Super Location. Can acess the malls,Metro and foods courts within 5 minutes. Loved spending time at the garden/park across from the hotel.
  
  What could be improved: Hotel has the old world charm. Can do with a bit of an upgrade when it comes to lobby, Buffett selection, Staff also needs to be trained to be more conversant in English as many of the guests are international.
  
  Would have been ideal to have the vending machine with ENGLISH LANGUAGE OPTION as well as to have an INHOUSE SPA.

  Breakfast was very good. The only thing is I have breakfast by myself, and I note there were many solo or two person travellers. There were too few smaller tables. I am quite sociable and good at engaging but as a foreigner, not everyone would feel as comfortable. A woman called Wu ChangHong helped us a lot, many thanks.

  If you're planning to visit Shanghai, love Art-Deco, interested in architecture, and history this hotel is the best choice. The building is masterfully designed. There are fascinating details hidden within these historic walls. This jewel box was the tallest in Asia for decades. It was designed by Hungarian-born László Hudec. The most famous and richest dignitaries of the time stayed here long ago.
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately, its shine is worn out by now. It could be much more cleaner. Could have more services. I really wish the Hotel had the opportunity to undertake renovations to preserve this wonderful building. The building is simply so impressive and the reception is so helpful that I couldn't be angry about the room overlooking the air channels.

  Got a big Junior suite with latest tech 2x TV..
  Efficient air heating; Brand new refurnished bathroom. Just beginning of famous Nanjing street.
  Opposite of Exit 8; People's Square Metro Station Red Line 1.
  
  What could be improved: Minibar had only Coca and orange jus. Very ğoor variety!
