I mean, the location really is something special here — couples consistently rate it 8.5 out of 10, and after spending time in the area, I totally get why. You’re right in the heart of everything, with that excellent 9.4 location score making perfect sense once you start exploring. The metro connections are incredibly easy (Nanjing West Road station is just a short walk), and you can actually reach most of Shanghai’s major attractions without much hassle. What I really appreciated was having parking available on-site — in a city where finding a spot can be a nightmare, that’s genuinely valuable if you’re planning to rent a car or have one.

The Neighborhood Feel

Jing’an district has this wonderful mix of old Shanghai charm and modern convenience that you don’t find everywhere. There are traditional breakfast spots within a few blocks where locals line up for xiaolongbao and soy milk, but you’re also close to some seriously good international dining options. The tree-lined streets around the guesthouse are perfect for evening walks — something about the way the light filters through in the late afternoon just feels right. You’ll notice how quiet it gets at night too, which is rare for such a central location.

The room itself strikes that balance between comfort and character that’s harder to achieve than it looks. Everything feels thoughtfully chosen rather than just ordered from a hotel supply catalog, if that makes sense.   Host was very friendly and approachable. Told him aircon wasn't working well and he sends a servicemen up the next hour. Very efficient service to ensure we have a comfortable stay.

  Very big space, clean and very welcoming. The position is the best in town, close to everything and with very close subways stations. The Host is very gentle and the structure is not luxury but is very confortable and clean

  Four of us (2 families of 2 people each) stayed in the apartment for 5 days in April 2025.
  We were very satisfied with the comfort and facilities and enjoyed our time very much.
  The apartment has everything you need – from a giant fridge to USB charging sockets by the bed and in the living area.
  The equipment is very modern – you can adjust the temperature of the toilet lid or switch on the light via touchscreen on the mirror.
  The view from the 33rd floor is fantastic – we took lots of great night photos.
  The super advantage is the location – right in the center. All central properties are within walking distance and we took walks along the Nanjing Road shopping promenade every evening.
  Opposite the building, next to the gas station, is a store with unbeatable prices – you can shop there and don't have to carry your purchases far.
  The biggest advantage is the friendly, caring and professional service from the landlord – he answered our questions immediately and fulfilled all our wishes – you really can't expect more.
  Conclusion: The apartment deserves more than 5 out of 5 stars! I can recommend it without hesitation and will gladly visit it again on my visits to Shanghai.

  The location is so convenient. And easy to find. You may walk to the museum and park it's like next door.
  It is so easy to find local food and near the Starbucks reserved. There are so many cafes as well.
  
  Transportation: The closest station i think it is a natural history museum and west nanjing.
  
  3 bedrooms, 2 separated shower rooms.
  1 kitchen and 1 living room with a big dining table. They provide a washing machine, microwave, and kettle. etc.
  
  You can deposit the luggage at -1 floor.
