  What could be improved: While my stay at the hotel was generally pleasant, there were two aspects that I found disappointing.
  
  Firstly, the breakfast selection was heavily focused on Chinese cuisine, with most dishes being spicy or oily. As someone who isn’t accustomed to such flavors in the morning, I found it challenging to enjoy the meal. I would have appreciated a wider variety of international options—such as pastries, cottage cheese, or lighter Western-style dishes—to cater to guests from different backgrounds.
  
  Secondly, the English proficiency of the staff was quite limited. This made it difficult to communicate even basic requests, which at times caused confusion and inconvenience. Improving language skills among the staff would significantly enhance the experience for international visitors.

  At the Holiday Inn Pudong Shanghai, you'll be greeted by helpful and professional staff. The rooms, known for their cleanliness, brightness, and spaciousness, are comfortable retreats. While some are windowless, the hotel’s location is near various restaurants, coffee shops, and the Zhongke Road Metro (Line 13), which adds to its appeal. Lukin Coffee and Family Mart are just a few metres away, with a McDonald's next to the reception/entrance area. A mall within walking distance also offers more dining and shopping options.
  
  What could be improved: The food was quite good in quality, but the breakfast choices were almost identical each day, so I did not go on sometimes during my stay.
