  welcoming and friendly staff when we arrived at 2.30am, very clean with great facilities, spacious room. lots of cafes/restaurants in the area and not far from the metro. would definitely stay here again.

  Clean and quiet area and with standard.
  Being close to metro station makes it super convinient to go to most of Shanghai. Supermarket, dining is all around and one station away from Shanghai train station and two stations away from People Square….

  Kind staff, well located (close to the river and the subway, not far from the city centre) some rooms with a great view.
  
  What could be improved: Breakfast on Sunday was super crowded, and quite stressful. But the breakfast buffet is very good.

  Bed was comfy and room was really large.
  
  What could be improved: Nobody wants to see the toilet from their bed. Luckily you could put a blind down but the bathroom had a glass panel looking directly at the bed from the toilet.
  
  Our only issue was staff were odd. The front desk are cold and rushed and weird, and when we ordered room service they didn’t bring us any plates to eat off. When I called room service they told me to pick them up myself from the second floor and then Hung up on me – they were so rude! What’s the point of room service if I’m picking up things myself? Customer service was definitely not at an international standard.

  The hotel is in an excellent location to the train station and metro station. There are a variety of choices at the breakfast stations and all foods were labeled clearly.

  Good area, not the best which remains West Nanjing Road for me, but quite ok as base and very close to train station for day trips. Metro also is close. More of business area so do not expect bars and restaurants. Solid hotel overall. Rooms very large
