The parking situation is fantastic too — completely free, which is honestly a relief if you’re dealing with a rental car in Shanghai.

The Room Experience

My room was on the eighth floor, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was despite being on a main road. The design is minimalist but warm — think clean lines with touches of wood that make it feel less sterile. The bed was actually comfortable (you never know with some hotels), and the bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that actually works properly. What I really appreciated was the workspace setup — the desk had plenty of outlets and good lighting, which matters when you’re trying to catch up on work between flights.
