  Big, clean room, quiet. 24 hour LAWSON convenience store inside airport terminal, less than 10 min walk, relevant for me as I arrived at 1AM and was hungry. Hotel lobby leads into the airport terminal.

  The location is hard to beat, since it's literally in terminal 2 of the Hongqiao Airport. If you use any of the maps in the airport, it's relatively easy to find. It is worth mentioning that, depending on where you enter the airport, you may have to go through a small security check before accessing the hotel (they will just scan your bag briefly). It's steps away from the check-in desks, the staff was professional, and the room was cozy – not large, but with more than enough to make you feel quite comfortable. Soft bed and a big shower with consistent hot water!
  
  What could be improved: One warning – double check where your flight leaves from! I was using China Eastern, which was listed as being in Terminal 2, so I thought this hotel was perfect. Unfortunately, my flight was international and it turned out it was leaving from Terminal 1. The terminals are quite far away, it's about a 15-25 minute train ride or a 10-15 minute taxi, which is of course a little bit less convenient upon leaving the hotel. The staff initially had a hard time finding my reservation, but it was quickly located after a bit of confusion.
