  This residence boasts an unparalleled and excellent geographical location, standing right in the core of Shanghai. Changle Road is just like a unique scenic spot right at the doorstep, and you can reach it the moment you step out. Anfu Road and Wukang Road are also within easy reach. Surrounding the residence, there are numerous small shops with distinctive charm and unique flavors. Each of them hides a different kind of surprise, waiting quietly for you to explore and discover one by one.
  
  Moreover, the transportation here is another highlight. It is only about 600 meters away from the subway station, allowing you to embark on a convenient journey with ease. By taking the subway, you can quickly arrive at a host of popular attractions, such as People's Square, which carries the prosperous memories of the city, the bustling and commercially vibrant Nanjing East Road, and the Yu Garden with its rich ancient charm and charming scenery, providing great convenience for your outings, leisure and entertainment.

  Brilliant place. Super central, wonderful area with lots of different restaurants, cafes, shops etc all around. Flat is not fancy but clean and it has a soul and all you need for your stay.
  
  Best to have WeChat for instant communication with the owner if you struggle to find the place (yes, it IS at the end of a tiny passage, even if it might feel like entering private space). If in doubt, ask the locals. They are super helpful even if you do not speak Mandarin.
  
  Sad that we were not able to come back here for the 2nd part of our stay as it was booked out.

  What could be improved: There were some noises in the night from streets and from neighbors. I guessed it had something to do with the football game but it was really bad. I didn’t sleep well. The walls felt like paper thin and I was able to hear every word from passing by neighbors and people’s midnight phone calls ( yes, someone chose to talk on the phone at 4am outside in the alley).
