The university area has some incredible hole-in-the-wall places that serve authentic Shanghainese food at prices that’ll make you wonder why hotel dining is so expensive everywhere else.

  We booked this hotel from Booking.com because of it's rating and price. Even though the rating was high but not a lot of people evaluated it so we did not have high hope. To our surprise Time Traveller Boutique Hotel exceeded our expectation in everything including breakfast. We paid for the breakfast RMB38 on each morning. We didn't buy it originally because we thought after 2 weeks traveling and eating hotels' breakfast we would be tired of it. Time Traveller Boutique Hotel changes menu each day and they are fresh! 我們訂這家旅館是因為高評價和好價錢。可是並沒有很多人寫評論，所以我們並沒抱著高期許。令我們驚訝的是，時光漫步旅館，在每一件事上超越了我們的想像，其中包涵早餐。我們起先沒有訂早餐，是因為經過2星期的旅遊，吃旅館的早餐，我們認為很可能會覺得厭煩了。因此，我們第一天花人民幣38買早餐，吃吃看。沒想到小小的廚房，卻準備出各式各樣的美食，因此我們每天都吃他們的早餐。
