You’ve got the Metro within walking distance, so getting to the Bund or Nanjing Road is straightforward, but when you come back in the evening, it’s to this peaceful pocket where you can actually hear yourself think. Plus, there’s free private parking, which anyone who’s driven in Shanghai will tell you is worth its weight in gold.

  It is only a 20 minute walk to Disneyland. Beautiful grounds and gardens. You would never know you were near Shanghai, it is like staying in park lands.
