  The location is fantastic, just a stone’s throw away from the Bund and faces the beautiful Pearl TV tower. Also within walking distance from the Yu Garden.
  
  What could be improved: The train station is not particular near and requires 10-15 min walk.

  Our suite room with the river view was fantastic, could see the Oriental TV tower across the Bund. Shower was very spacious, room very clean and all the amenities were provided. Room service was exceptional and the staff frequently provided extra towels and bottles of water. Very close walk to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and nearby attractions.
  
  What could be improved: Only thing was our bath didn't run as we'd like and the tap pressure wasn't great.

  I used to stay in the hotel every time when I came to Shanghai before pandemic. Great location with the spectacular view of Pu Dong and the Bund. The cross river ferry is literally at your door steps. The decoration is top notch.
  
  What could be improved: Since they have the name changed and had a major makeover of the lobby. I was kind of disappointed, don’t get me wrong, the new lobby is more grand and beautiful, it is just not the same as the boutique hotel that I stayed. There were some issues of flushing the toilet in my room and the A/C wasn’t working properly in other room.

  Positive:
  The location is excellent — right opposite the hotel is The Bund, offering beautiful scenery. The decor has a charming mid-century style, and the staff were all very friendly. The room was spacious, with a large bathroom as well.
  
  What could be improved: Negative:
  The only downside was the view from my room. Although the room itself was large, the view was blocked by another building. I’ll definitely be back, and next time I’ll book a room with a better view.

  What could be improved: One of the women who checked us in was not very pleasant . The few times I needed something from the front desk, it felt like I was bothering her and an inconvenience. Responded very rudely when I let her know our kettle machine wasn’t working in our room. Door man however, was very helpful and assisted us.
