  the airport shuttle was timely and it was a nice and clean hotel. really nice actually.
  
  What could be improved: I had asked the hotel to book me a taxi to Hongqiao station, they had asked me to do it since it would be cheaper. none of my apps were working so I went with them. they said it will cost 300 cny. I didn't have cash. they said the taxi driver will stop at an ATM. mind you the staff helped me with laundry and arranged a little breakfast baggie for me to leave at 5 30am. the problem happened when we left the hotel the taxi driver said if we want to take the highway to not miss our train, then we will have to pay him 400. it was unfair amd we feel cheated.

  What could be improved: There was a bit of confusion when and how their shuttle was supposed to pick us up from the airport but we got there at the end. The driver spoke no English (which is fair enough – when in Rome do as the Romans do) but that would have helped. Google translator came to the rescue

The shuttle bus from the airport to hotel was impossible to find, so we needed to take a taxi (no one helped us in the airport which was quite sad, but I think they just didn’t know any English either, or didn’t want to deal with non-chinese – this of course was not hotel’s fault).
