The Room Experience

My room was on the eighth floor, and honestly, the view wasn’t much to write home about — mostly construction and newer developments stretching toward the airport. But inside? Pretty impressive for the price point. The bed was firm (which I prefer), and they’d clearly invested in decent blackout curtains — crucial when you’re dealing with jet lag. The bathroom was compact but well-designed, with one of those rainfall showerheads that actually has good pressure. I mean, it’s not going to win any design awards, but everything worked exactly as it should.

Practical Perks

One thing that really stood out was the parking situation — completely free and actually spacious, which is rare in Shanghai. If you’re renting a car for day trips or business meetings, this is a huge advantage. The hotel also has a small restaurant on the ground floor that serves decent Chinese and Western breakfast options. Nothing fancy, but the congee was surprisingly good, and they make a solid coffee. The WiFi was fast enough for video calls, which matters if you’re here on business.

After spending a few nights here, I get why this place scores so well with travelers. It’s not trying to be something it’s not — just a solid, reliable base that happens to be perfectly positioned for airport access.   Har bott på hotellet tidigare och tycker om i princip allt där, annars hade jag/vi inte bott där igen. Personalen är jättetrevlig, frukosten mycket bra och sängarna jättesköna, samt jättefina rum och badrum. Är "lagom storlek" på själva hotellet också, vilket gör att det känns personligt att bo där.
  
  What could be improved: Då och då luktar det rök i korridorerna, utanför rummen – förstår dock att det kanske är svårt att göra något åt det. Har även varit med om att ett rum vi skulle ha luktade rök – inte så trevligt när man är ickerökare.
  Hotellets Wifi kunde vara lite bättre.

  Close to Chuansha Metro (nearest exit to the hotel is no.2, you will come across a mall beside a small river at the station entrance/exit).
  Front desk was kind enough to allow early check-in after our early arrival from Pudong Airport. Staff was patient while trying to assist as I was not able to get connected to Airalo eSIM, since this is my first trip to China.
  I just speak basic Mandarin but staff made every effort to reduce any communication gaps.
  
  What could be improved: Same breakfast menu though the food wasn't that bad.
