There’s free private parking right at the hotel, which honestly is a huge relief if you’re planning to explore by car — finding parking in Shanghai can be a nightmare elsewhere.

The Room Experience

My room had that crisp, modern aesthetic that Sheraton does well, but with touches that felt distinctly Chinese rather than generic international. The bed was exactly what you’d hope for after a long day of exploring — firm but comfortable, with quality linens that actually made me want to sleep in. What I didn’t expect was how quiet everything was, considering you’re still in a major city. The bathroom was spacious enough that I wasn’t bumping into things, and the shower pressure was spot-on.
