  Excellent service by the staff. I forgot to bring along my jacket. They contacted me and I was able to pick up my jacket when I returned to Shanghai

  The ground floor dining room which is a great place for my friends and I to meet over supper.

  I loved my stay! The location was great, the room was comfy, and the staff was friendly and kind.

  Hotel room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful. The location is good – a 10 minute walk from nearby subway stations – but the immediate area around the hotel is not that nice or exciting.

  The room was efficient and comfortable. The breakfast was good. Location is around 700 m to nearest metro.

  Great bed and pillow, good location ( close to the center but far enough), fantastic breakfast buffet with Asian and European choises, good shower and clean room

  The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few meters from a subway station and within walking distance of both Nanjing Road, Yuyan garden and The Bund. The staff were very welcoming and helpful—even on a rainy day, they helped me find a local gym to pass the time. The breakfast was mediocre compared to other hotels I visited in China, but it still offered a variety of both Western and Eastern options. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. I would definitely stay here again!
  
  What could be improved: Even though I more or less enjoyed my stay, there are two things I’d like to point out. First, the condition of my room—there were a few stains on the walls, especially in the bathroom, and the bathroom tiles were somewhat broken and dirty. The water pressure in the shower also needed attention; it took me quite a while to wash due to the weak stream. Second, I was truly bothered by the number of mosquitoes in the room, even though there was a window screen, especially during the night. A small electric repellent might be a helpful addition.

  The staff waited for us when we arrived at 2.30am for check-in . The breakfast is great . The rooms was comfortable with cable tv channels
