  Had a great 6-night stay at Amara Shanghai. We were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a spacious room with a big bed, and the hotel also fulfilled our request for connecting rooms — much appreciated! All the staff were very friendly, and I want to give a special shout-out to the amazing concierge team who collected my parcels daily. Every concierge staff member was kind, patient, and incredibly helpful — big thumbs up!
  Guests also enjoy complimentary access to the Executive Lounge, where free beverages and a light dinner are served during happy hours. A special thanks to Una Yang, who was sweet and friendly while serving us during dinner. The desserts were lovely too — thank you, Chef Solomon!

  It Was a very good stay, the view from the room was super beautiful and the room very well arranged. "LI XUELI" my housekeeper was perfect we didn't miss anything thanks to her! And "ZERO" also helped me a lot during the stay.

  Large immaculate room, the biggest and best we had on our travels in China and Japan. The Hotel felt very luxurious. Friendly helpful staff and fantastic food. We had use of the Executive lounge with great views of the City and good food, snacks.
  Great Customer service. Good recommendations for massage, supermarkets etc.
  Easy access to the metro and could travel by public transport to and from the airport.

  I had the please to meet one of the housekeeping ladies whose name is Li Xueli. She was a very nice, attentive and caring women who took great care in cleaning my room. Hopefully the next time I stay I will be able to have her as my housekeeper once more.

  We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious, very rich, and with a great variety of choices – definitely one of the best we’ve had.
  
  We would also like to give a big thank you to the lady who cleaned our room on the 16th floor – Cao Qing Min – she did an amazing job and everything was always perfectly clean.
  
  Our room felt very spacious and comfortable, and we really appreciated the cleanliness throughout the whole hotel. The location was also excellent – very convenient and easy to get around.
  
  The staff took great care of us and made us feel welcome. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily come back again.

  There isn’t ever anything negative I could say about this property. I wish I could pack it in my suitcase and take it around the world with me how amazing the staff are and welcoming very warm. This is my second time staying here and I can’t think of a better place to be while in Shanghai or China at that! Una, Lucy, Eva, Solomon, Chen long, Brothet lice and the amazing Concierge Zero! The staff goes above and beyond for their visitors and being in such a foreign place like China as a solo traveler, I can’t thank them enough for the safety and comfort that they provide for me every time I stay at this hotel!
